Lets face it we all strive to live a happy healthy life and to do this we really need to look inward at how our bodies work, how our cells and energy give out what we take in and this can be a number of things from our thoughts and actions to our food and environment.
For our bodies to be healthy our cells need to have a vibration frequency of between 62-72MHZ and when they drop below this range your cells start to mutate and go into an unhealthy state. When your body becomes compromised and vibrations drop to lower frequencies ts is what can happen
You really are what you eat and food has the ability to raise or lower your vibrations. foods with a high vibration can aid your body in detoxification where as low vibrational foods will create a toxic build up which will affect the health of your cells and your mental health.
What are high and low vibation foods? well lets start with the high foods as it is not just the foods themselves it is the source and proceses that they have gone through to get onto your plate....if you picked and apple from a tree and ate it it is going to have a higher vibration than an apple that has been picked, chopped and pre packed then sent half way round the world so first at the top of the list are organic and locally sourced foods, the closer to the food source you are the more vibration the food holds. High vibrational foods also have a connection with the ground and have been in direct sunlight soaking up the earths biggest energy source... so on the flip side foods that have been heated, treated, bleached, canned, frozen, pre chopped, pumped with antibiotics and washed in chemicals, pesticides and fertilisers are low vibrational.
This concept is not a new discovery, the ancient greeks practised wisdom healing using food to nourish the mind body and soul and they introduced us to the concept of energy and its effects on humans,animals, plants and our health, we are all connected spiritually by energy. Hi energy foods have been used within spiritual pracises to connect with our higher source, this is one of the reasons why many ancient philosophers and healers were vegan or vegetarian such as plato and pythagoras.
Not just eating high frequency foods raise our vibrations but also the preparation of our dishes as if we are in a state of high vibration ourselves we add a healing element to our dishes, food that is prepared with loving hands adds a good energy to your food, prepare food slowly, lovingly and peacefully. In my world preparing food is a meditation , a place that i go to to escape, I play my favouite music or even have a little kitchen dance which are both vibration raising actions in themesleves, dont think of cooking as a chore as this is a negative thought which will reflect on your food when served, give gratitude to the food that you eat, gratitude to all the people whom were involved in getting your food to you from the growers to the sellers to the people prearing your food abd servinf it to you and to yourself but most of all to the food that is going to sustain you and every cell in your body with its nutritional value as this is what live foods give you, so for good health eat an abundance vegetables, nuts, fruit and fresh herbs and keep to a minimum or eliminate meat, sugar and foods that are highly processed or chemically altered (GMO) contain chemically additives, they have little or no good vibrational energy or nutrition.
So get yourself to your local farmers market, to your allotment or back garden and pull out the high vibrarion veggies and get busy in the kitchen... play your happy tunes, have a kitchen dance and cook the best food you have ever cooked, filled with love, gratitude and HIGH VIBRATIONS
Here we go again with the second lockdown , a little later than expected but we are here non the less. The first lockdown taught me to switch up my business game.... and to do it fast as it was sink or swim for those of us in the hospitality industry luckily I have always been the type of person to find a little bit of a silver lining in all situations and just get on with it and I happy to say my mental health did not suffer in fact it actually got better as I was not working as hard as I was pre covid 19 yet still not a massive change to my income, no stress of the actual running of the cafe, the sun was shining and the days were long enough to prepare food to eat alfresco heading to the beach or the countryside in my trusty VW RocketVan Elton for some R&R which is something I hadn't done for myself for a long time. Second time round is a lot different as the nights have drawn in, more hardships for some self employed, job losses and of course being seperated again from friends and family, brexit looming and confusion from the governmen has not helped so this time round I feel a little on edge though I am grateful for the amazing support for my little Plant based food delivery business and feeling the love from my amazing customers whom a lot have become firm friends over the years and boy are keeping keeping me busy.
Nutrition is something that we feel is key to keeping a day to day healthy life balance, what we feed our bodies affects how we feel and how our bodies cope with all that life throws at us... feed it with processed, fried food, meat and dairy heavy diets and our bodies will feel sluggish and start showing symtoms of fatigue, brain fog, aches and pains along with depression in some cases as all of these foods are flammatory which causes stress to our bodies which in turn makes us feel down and unenthused to get up and out to do things while on the other hand if we feed ourselves with a rainbow of colour and that is what life will throw right back at you. Fresh live foods from the earth make you feel just that and an all round balance of food groups allows us to have a few naughty treats when we want to so it's not about dieting and contol its about introducing healthy habits until they are just that...everyday happenings that we dont really have to think about. So while you are in lockdown an on furlough why not teach yourself a new dish to add to your cooking repertoire or if your too busy as lockdown has had the opposite effect why not order from our weekly menu to inspire you to get out your pots and pans.
